This program is a product of over 15 years of coaching experience and over two decades of competing as both swimmers and triathletes. Crew Swim School is designed to improve your swim performance while streamlining decisions around swim training as a triathlete. If you're looking to improve your swim performance in your next triathlon, you're in the right place.

For years we've been guiding athletes on the journey to improve their triathlon swim. But, up until now, all our work has been either in-person or 1:1. NOW, for the first time, you can learn from us virtually, no matter where you are located!

Chances are if you're a triathlete, you spend a lot of time questioning your swim training.

You may have questions like -

💦How often should I swim?

💦What do triathlon-specific swim workouts look like?

💦How do I improve my form?

💦What do I need to know as an adult transitioning into swimming for a triathlon?

💦How do I find the right coach?

The work we do with triathletes boils down to consistent, efficient training. As triathlon coaches who work endlessly to break down the barriers around swimming, we've created the perfect program for you.

Our Unique Backgrounds

We both have very different personal narratives when it comes to swimming. Our backgrounds give us a unique perspective on how to approach swim training for a triathlon. This allows us to understand how to work with athletes of all backgrounds.

I (Drew) grew up swimming competitively since the age of 6. I was a top distance swimmer for Edinboro University. Soon after graduation, I missed the competition. This is how I became a triathlete. However, I faced one common theme most runners and triathletes alike struggle with: I kept getting injured.

Meanwhile, I (Caitlin) was an adult-onset swimmer trying to figure out the whole swimming thing. After a few years of attempting swimming on my own and sub-par performances, I knew I needed to invest in a swim coach. After meeting Drew at a triathlon in 2013 and later finding out he coached a master's swim team, I reached out for help.

This is how Crew Racing flourished. We realized we could speak to the top two struggles runners and triathletes face -

1. How to stay injury-free.

2. How to be best prepared for the swim portion of a triathlon.

Fast-forward 8 years and here we are! Drew’s triathlon resume is packed with Ironman first out of the water accolades. Caitlin’s top performance is coming out of the water 10th overall age group female at an Ironman National Championship.

With backgrounds in physical therapy and performance coaching, we have helped hundreds of athletes like yourself. We are so excited to use Crew Swim School as a platform to get word out about how to best approach swim training for a triathlon. You deserve to feel confident in your training and on race day. We are here to help!
